The one they call Love took my heart.

He took my life that was falling apart.

He gave me a blessing I can’t believe!

Grace that I shouldn’t receive.

Love that I don’t have to achieve.

A heart that doesn’t bleed; it sings!

A life that doesn’t end, from the overflowing springs!

The one they call Love calls me His.

He reminds me that He will never forsake me.

He says, “Trust me.”

Poem for Peace

I seek peace, oh lover of all. I seek stillness among chaos.     A whisper more powerful than a roar. I seek words of truth rather than sweet lies. I seek your presence; to feel you all around me. Speak peace to my soul. Grow my heart, take my burdens, and leave me feeling refreshed. I rejoice in your redeeming name! I sing praise, for I am restored! I love the Lover of all. He is all I need, all I want, all I love.
