Tearing down The box
A
box. A cube.
Eight
corners and twelve edges;
Holding
everything you fear,
Holding the
limits
Of your
comprehension,
Holding
all your what if’s,
Constraining
His endless possibilities
To mere probabilities
Maybe and Hopefully have replaced
Yes and Amen
“I
am the Alpha and Omega,” he says,
“I
am Love and Freedom.”
But
you’re too busy
Setting
limits for him…
The
audacity; to set limits for the
One
who created Everything
The
One who created You.
The
One who made it all,
The
One who loves you endlessly
Does
not deserve to be stuffed
In
a box full of doubts
A
box that you fill with
Worries
and tender dreams
Unfortunately,
out of your free will
This
box was constructed
And
God is gentle enough
To not destroy it in one blink
If he
forced us,
We would childishly
resent him,
For
we would not know the reason,
Having
not realized its hindrance
And
interference with his plans.
Have
you not realized
Our
God is Limitless?
Have
you no Faith or Trust?
Imagine
just one person realizing this and
Beginning
a daily challenge
Of
tearing down the box,
Not
thinking outside the box,
But
removing the box all together
Removing
the doubts
No
longer saying, “But I can’t” and
Instead
exclaiming, “You can”
A
box is not fit for the King of Kings,
But
a heart ready with love
And
a mind set on his Word
Is
a beautiful home.
